No Filter: The Real Struggles of Postpartum

So, you just had a baby. The tiny human is adorable, and everyone’s fawning over the cuteness, but let’s be real: there’s a whole lot more going on than what Instagram shows.

Postpartum is a whole new world, and it's not all rainbows and roses. It’s a mix of exhaustion, emotional roller coasters, and maybe a little (or a lot) of identity crisis. And that's okay! You are not alone in this.

In fact, you’re probably not feeling “just fine” – and that’s perfectly normal. Whether it's the 3 AM wake-ups, the shift in your relationship with your partner, or those sneaky feelings of anxiety, it’s all part of the postpartum experience. And guess what? It’s okay to not love every minute of it. In fact, it’s more than okay – it’s human.

So why do we keep pushing the myth that moms (and dads!) need to "bounce back" and be perfect? Spoiler alert: There’s no such thing as perfect after baby. The real deal is that you're doing the best you can, and you deserve support to help you through it all.

If you're navigating these challenges – whether it’s figuring out your new role as a parent, dealing with sleep deprivation, or feeling like your body is a stranger – know that you're not alone. It’s okay to ask for help, and there are spaces where you can truly be seen and heard.
